Skye Wu ’19 and Isabel Shepherd ’20
Hello friends! Welcome to Husband of the Month, where we introduce you to the
best of the best men in HollyWU’d (non-trash of the male species).
This month, we’ll be talking about Stanley Tucci. Now we know you’re thinking, “Who the h*ck is Stanley Tucci?” or you probably know him, but you don’t know him.
Stanley Tucci is the real star of The Devil Wears Prada (we at Husband of the Month believe that Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway are deeply overrated). He also rocked an incredible hair situation in The Hunger Games, which, to be honest, is probably a wig, but let’s pretend it’s real shall we? He was also the cool, weird dad in Easy A and featured as the iconic candelabra in the recent remake of Beauty and the Beast.
He has a quiet confidence, yet also brings a signature flair (pizazz, if you will) to each of his roles. He also wields his incredible power for good, helping to raise awareness for the global refugee crisis.
To learn more about Stanley Tucci, we recommend his two cookbooks (!!): The Tucci Cookbook and The Tucci Table: Cooking With Family and Friends.
In conclusion, we STAN this legend.
