Today, I had the pleasure of interviewing our beloved Marvin in his headquarters by the underpass. I’d never been inside before, but it’s cozy and peaceful; it makes you feel like a fly on the wall peering out onto the bustling corridor. However, we all know Marvin is no fly on the wall. He calls out to us as we walk by, makes us feel like we are the most important people in the world with his emphatic Hey!’s and How are you?’s. Personally, being able to shout back “Hey Marv!” as I walk past is a highlight of my day. After years of short, lively greetings, Marvin’s answers to my short questions felt especially important. I think a lot of you at Tower Hill will feel the same.
What’s your motto?
My motto is protecting. I protect you guys.
What’s your biggest fear?
Dogs. They bite.
What has been your greatest moment of glory?
The day I bought my Cadillac.
What has been the best part of your day or week so far?
Every day, every week, my favorite part is standing out front to give high-fives to the kids. It starts my morning off good, starts the day off right.
