SPIRIT WEEK and HOMECOMING 2013
Spirit week days next week:
Friday: Green and white
Thursday night, September 26, students are encouraged to remain at school after athletics to help decorate the halls to welcome all the alums and friends who will be returning “home” to Tower Hill. This will take place between 6:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. This is an optional event as there will not be a blackout, but we would love to have as many students participate as possible.
Friday night, September 27 will start off our weekend of athletic contests (see schedule below), beginning with the Volleyball game against Friends in the Weaver Gym. Green and White will be holding its annual pizza dinner beforehand. This promises to be an exciting game between the Hillers and Quakers, who have held the title of Conference Champs for the past 10 years. We do anticipate a larger than normal crowd at this event due to our long-standing (friendly) rivalry. In preparation of high attendance and in an effort to control numbers due to safety and fire codes, we will be issuing tickets to both Tower Hill and Friends families who would like to attend the game. These tickets will be offered at no cost and on a first-come, first-serve basis. Tickets will be available at Upper School lunch and at the Front Desk, starting on Monday, September 23. If you have any questions, please contact Jack Holloway (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Saturday, September 28, there will be a semi-formal dance in the Weaver Gym from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. for Upper School students. Snacks and refreshments will be available, and admission is $10.00 per person. Proceeds from the dance will go toward the Junior Class efforts to raise money for PROM!!! Students may bring guests by filling out a Guest Permission form. Forms can be returned to Junior Class co-chairs, Maddie Schwartz and Ryan Simonton.
